One thing that’s always annoyed me with asks and projects planning and things is the back and forth. It would be a lot easier if I just knew exactly what I was looking for the first time!
Managing really helped me see the other side of this; it’s tough to visualize something out of the gate, and sometime’s it’s just easier to have someone build a quick rough draft to beat up to get to a final version. It’s easier to say “oh I don’t like X, Y, and Z but keep the rest.” Same with projects, sometimes I want to see a draft first.
This clearly ties in with working-with-the-garage-door-up and you-can-just-do-things. Get more drafts of more things out there for critique and it’s just better off.
